While the cemetery itself is nice, and the staff friendly, I couldn't in good conscience recommend anyone bury their loved ones on the lower side near the rest home. For years that portion of the cemetery has been a playground for a residing neighbor's children and their dogs. It's pretty consistent that anytime I visit the cemetery their dog stays right at my heels, barking the entire time. It's also common to find several of their children roaming around the graves, playing with toys and shouting. The one time we've ever confronted the owners about controlling their dog they were rude and hostile about it, leading to an altercation and police involvement. I've spoken to several people within town management and was disheartened to find that this has been a ongoing problem for them for several years, and that they supposedly can't do anything about it. So if you want your deceased family members to be buried somewhere that you can visit in peace then I advise you look elsewhere. If you're comfortable with the idea of your family's final resting place being a playground for white trash, then Green Hill Cemetery might just be for you.
